Here are some of the lovely people who help with the daily running of Tynings Lane Church!
Jen is the Minister at Tynings Lane Church. She came to Aldridge in Jan 2016 to lead the Hothouse and Tynings Lane Church from her native north east. As well as being passionate about helping people discover the God who loves them she is also keen to ensure the Midlands discovers the joy of pease pudding. Jen loves to watch F1, cook for people and spend time listening to their stories.
I am Jane Richardson, the children and families worker at Tynings Lane Church. I have been in this role for six years and it really is my dream job. Seeing children and families grow in faith and flourish in the church community is an absolute joy. In my own family I have been married to Andy for 30 years and have two grown up daughters – Eve and Grace. When not working at TLC I am a part-time artist who loves to paint.
My name is Ann Harrison and I have worshipped at Tynings Lane Church for 16 years having moved from Aldridge Parish Church. I am now beginning my 7th year as Church Warden and I also lead the Monday Morning drop in coffee morning and help at the monthly film Club. One of my other jobs is to organise the weddings at Aldridge Parish Church.
Hi I’m Gary Watson. I’ve been a warden at TLC for just over a year and I’m a regular part of the worship team. I originally hail from the green and pleasant land of Northumberland but have now lived in the Midlands for more than half of my natural life, time I will never get back! I’m married to my awesome wife, Carol (the reason I’m in the Midlands) and have 2 lovely girls (Ciara & Amelia), a cat, hamster and most recently a cockapoo called Barney. TLC is by far the most welcoming church we’ve ever experienced and I count it a great privilege to be part of the family here. I’m really excited to see what God will do next and how our LITTLE church will accomplish BIG things for His Kingdom.
My name is Trevor Coleman and I have been a Church Warden at Tynings Lane since April 2014, where I have been worshipping for 27 years. I’m a local man and married to Shirley. My day job is a builder and when I get the time I like to go fishing and walking, preferably by lakes and mountains. I’m really excited about what God is doing at Tynings at this time. My favourite thing about Tynings is the people and their love for God.
My name is Steve Harrison and I have been a Reader in Aldridge for the last 32 years. I am involved in leading services, preaching, taking funeral services and a service at Aldridge Court Nursing Home once a month. I am also Deanery Treasurer, a post I've held for over 30 years. I also play and sing with the Tynings music group, and help with the Film Club once a month.
